Who the hell designed this finish? Incompetent morons embarrassing the whole country. Pfff.

Sagan got to show off his bike handling skills again though.

I am finding it hard not to laugh. We should have finishes like this more often.

Right - keep them guessing. That would be a solution to Libertine's hated sprint trains too. :D

Never imagined the winner of a sprint stage would be able to cross the line so slowly!

Haedo interview suggests roadbook was unclear aswell, bit of a shambles by the organisers then if so.

Edit: Although David Harmon just corrected him, so no excuse!

Or they could have looked at the finish before the start of the stage. :D

JJ Haedo: "It is not written in the road book......"
Dave Harmon Eurosport: "Clealy marked in the roadbook."
Sean Kelly: "In the run in, it's not easy to think about whats in the roadbook."

Cobo 10th.

I think, yes and yes. Not good work from the race org. as well as the riders that went the wrong way.

Yes, although i suppose its not easy if the rider ahead of you goes the wrong way.

advice: when taking part in a sprint its a good idea for the leadout guys to go the same way as their sprinters.

Was there a gap back to the sky guys? Could see one sky guy in about 15th with daylight ahead of him?

Edit: although under the circumstances it may well not matter

Was this neutralised within 3km?

I was thinking the same thing. Gaps everywhere, but no crash............

It should be, IMO. It doesn't make sense that this wouldn't be neutralized just because Sagan is so skilled he didn't crash, especially since it was the fault of the organizers.
