On one side I was talking to Dekker_Tifosi about the MTF stage being boring and your favorite riders not contending.

The thing with contador giving stage wins is TOTALLY different.

Huh? I don't think you understand us. Did you see my post? Wait, I'll have to search for it. Just give me a sec.

Edit: Right here:

That were two total different discussions:rolleyes:

Not really. I responded to you mentioning Contador and then ACF basically jumped upon me and then Hitch stepped in and then you said that you didn't even mention Contador

They also have Sicard as the best Euskaltel rider, I thought I saw Anton there. Other weird stuff from CN:s report are the rider Sky Procycling from Garmin - Barracuda as DNF and Klöden as 9th in the young rider classification . Maybe Klodi has found Shangri-La?

I usually use cyclingfever to check riders' numbers and they made a mistake today. In fact Anton rode with #71 and Astarlosa #72, while on cyclingfever it was Sicard #71, Anton #72 so for about 2/3 of the final ascent (until i'd checked the official website) when #72 rode on last position in the group and then got dropped i thought this was Igor Anton.

Evans looks to be in absolutely great shape!

Look dlwssonic:

I replied to you:

You're beginning to act like me lol. Evans just isn't a killer like the Cannibal was.

dlwssonic said:
Yeah I really hope Evans doesn't do what contador does and give others stage wins.

LaFlorecita said:
Lol he'll never because he's just not good enough lol. You only do that when you're Teh Best.

Congrats to Evans. He was strong today.

Then ACF thinks he has to hop in:

You can't help yourself, can't you?

LaFlorecita said:
What you didn't see what your fellow Cuddles fanboy wrote? Looks like HE can't help himself.

auscyclefan94 said:
Contador is irrelevant, he is banned and not competing. Get over it.

Then Hitch steps in:
The Hitch said:
Her (=me) point was that it was not her but dwlsonic who brought up Contador and in a negative way at that, so its very unfair to blame her for bringing him up when she did not bring him up and had no option but to respond.

dlwssonic said:
?? I didn't even mention contador??

And then this whole discussion starts. :p I'm not confused at all.

Cyclingews results are VERY wrong, Froome finished 66th on GC, not 5th etc. :p

Another win for Cadel, he's building up a really nice palmares these last 3 years. If he had retired after 2009 Vuelta everyone would remember him as a born loser.

Why the hell does Cyclingnews give Christopher Froome as 3rd on the stage when it was clearly Nordhaug (also in the results on the official crit. int website)?

They also say in their report that Rogers missed out on the podium but then in the results show that he finished 3rd on GC.

CQ also have Nordhaug 5th and Nocentini 4th on GC when it should be the other way around.

What an exciting race that was today, better than anything produced from the Tour of Catalunya (apart from the stage where Samu won from at 2k to go!)

So a quick summary: Florecita only comes out of the walls when Alberto is mentioned, ACF only when Cadel is mentioned, but when both are being discussed in the same thread (along with BMC boy sonic) the forum goes into meltdown?

To be fair, ACF starts many of the race threads and discusses more than just Cadel and La Florecita who is not ashamed to admit she's a big Contador fan, does post more than just about The Great One. Beware her wrath though should you badmouth him.

I will now retire from my duties as the forum's public defender.:D
