He will have some, the injury still pans him a lot if you seee his twitter. It will not be an easy ride at all.

WindLessBreeze said:Let's see what the pundits say. Will Garmin unleash Tyler Farrar???????for a chance to win, or will they keep all their guns in reserve to protect Ramondas??!!!!!!!!!!Anyway, if Manx'Man's SKY could take him thru the little hill unscattered, it's his call.............I guess

patterson_hood said:Surely Farrar will just sit in Hunters wheel, with Hunter just behind Cav, come fourth and bemoan the fact he couldn't get a good position?

Hum... I doubt Vandevelde is there for GC. It wouldn't surprise me to see him on the front. Same with Stetina, he may go well on GC but he's a domestique.search said:that's a good point, it will be interesting to see who will be doing the work, especially besides Bauer and Rosseler. Hunter/Rasmussen are useful in the final and Hesjedal/Vandevelde/Stetina are options for the GC, so I think Navardauskas will have to do some work himself.
But all in all, usually they don't build up a train for Farrar anyway, especially since Julian Dean is not part of the team anymore, so it won't be much of a difference for the final.

But its always a lottery.
I really wouldn't want to be in Ferrari's shoes today. I think he is in for a torrid time.
taiwan said:Strikes me that Savio might be better to voluntarily send Ferrari home and focus on the GC and mountain stage wins. Or, better for Ferrari, just keep him well out of the way in the next couple of sprints and have him try on later flat or intermediate stages (after all he's one of the better climbing sprinters I think).
