4,5 km@7,7 capella on strade bianche...will goss survive there if liquigas still goes like a train?i hope it will be live broadcast by then

I can only hope they ride it hard. It will be mayhem if this stage is raced hard.

This isn't going to be the sit back and relax stage, some predicted.
It may not sort out the strongest, but could certainly sort out the weakest.
Certainly not hanging about.

Van Winden fell and took the others with him.
Van Winden has the Rabo-falling disease
Hey, I thought making fun of Rabobank for crashing had got old?

There's nothing about a crash on the Italian tickers... if anything, the Dutch disease is making drama based on scarce information.

Wow, Hushovd massive fail. It was obvious from the start that he never wanted to do the Giro, but I expected him to do at least 10 stages. I almost feel sorry for BMC who have wasted millions on him, but I guess they have a limitless amount of money anyway.

androni and colnago needs to be at the front when they enter on strade bianche.otherise liquigas and astana will slaughter them, they know they are weak on these kind of stage

and now we are on cingoli, most of the sprinters will be dropped even here if liquigas goes fast

Slagter is doing better than last year, last year he got a concussion on the sterrato stage. Anyway, what is the butcher's goal this Giro?

That's Italian? I doubt Cyclism'Actu are on the spot.

My guess is they've just been dropped.

who said I follow italian tickers? Find the cyclism-actu one better.
And they have to have their info from somewhere also..right

This is the sterrato stage, so it's early days ;)

He wants to try GC.

My point was that none of the Italian sources say this. Just Eurosport and (apparently) Cyclism'Actu. Both French, and probably relying on Google translate.

trying a GC

but i don't expect much. He hasn't done much this season bar Oman. And has not convinced me at all so far that he is strong enough.

Disappointing to see Thor go, but he really hasn't looked good this season.

Such a contrast to last year.

To be fair he never wanted to be at the Giro anyway, I thought he'd go home early on.
