Well they are now anyway.. They didn't bother to remain the pink yesterday even though it would have been just 5-10 kms of pacing. Now they are determined to get it again. It's hilarious.

You are right, but it still feels strange to me.

Yesterday Lampre (and Liquigas) took more responsibility than the team who held the Maglia Rosa (and had Hesjedal poised), Garmin and there was no real co-operation in the peloton.
Today Lampre and Garmin (and some other teams) seems to work reasonably well together, a different atmosphere.

You might be right. Other then Ryder they only had Vandevelde and Stetina finish in the front group. I didn't realize that up until now
