yes, let's hope they don't fully make it so the stelvio stage doesn't turn into another gavia stage which was a bit of a let down :eek:

Pampeago is steep, for sure good terrain for basso to throw the hammer down.

No Uran dropped later than Scarponi. Scarponi just caught up to Uran, still has to catch up to the guys in front

Not just the mountain. I think Liqui will work the last 3 mountains. Its harder than today. harder than Gardeccia maybe.

Purito isn't too terrible a descender. He rode for Caisse in 2008-9, they used to do the old group descending pressure trick back then with the likes of Kiryienka and Arroyo.
