As I previously said eariler in this thread :

Wow, news just came in that the mayor of Horsens, where the stage tomorrow takes place, was hit by a heart attack today and has passed away. Might affect the stage tomorrow.

The tragedy happened while he was participating in a public giro-celebration cycling race called "Giroen i Horsens".

farrar certainly doesnt have the respect in the sprint like he used to, he got pushed around by every single person he got near in the last 3km
It was painful to see Farrar taking Nibali out of contention in last year's Vuelta.

Good effort, but in terms of effectiveness, not very good at all.

Not quick enough on the final straight, meaning Cav got boxed on both sides and had to check his pedelling to get out in to clean air.

Still think Thomas will do a fine job most of the time, but he's a 3rd man, 1km to 400m rider.

I agree, but that's also Eisel's job, who of course has that long term rapport with Cavendish. Who would you say Sky ought to have as the last man, either from their 9 in the race, or from their whole squad - Boasson Hagen? Appollonio? Swift?

I'm not being facetious here, this is a genuine question, because I agree with you that Thomas is more a third man, but feel that Eisel already does that job to a great extent.

I guess in the Tour it will be defintely EBH.

And the leadout will look like Knees/Pate -Eisel - Thomas - EBH - Cav

Yep. Can't help being a bit pis*ed that we've actually managed to get this wonderful circus to the country and the organizers picks this route.

Yes, you guys(organizers) continue to disappoint with boring races.

There can only be one winner in a big race on Danish soil

Might somebody be so kind and tell me what happened to Guardini?
Was he involved in the crash?

Blocked behind the crash... Even though his positioning could have been better, I don't think that he would have made top 3 without the crash

This hopefully will settle the score:
"Garmin-Barracuda and Orica led the field into the final, right-hand corner at 500 meters to go. A few wheels deep in the bunch, Rabobank’s Theo Bos and Mark Renshaw touched wheels, setting off a crash that took down Katusha’s Alexander Kristoff and split the race."

The author of that article has two eyes like the rest of us. I'd wait to hear from the riders involved to pass judgment.

Probably Sutton in the tour I'd say. Swift if he's fit in time, but the 6 month break playing silly ******s on the track can't have helped.

Appo is far too small to give anyone a leadout, and I wouldn't trust Eddy to navigate anyone (and I hope he would have too much pride to take the role).

Hope Rabo are paying Renshaw a lot more than Sky would - his reputation is taking a trashing and there's no sign of him winning anything much.

He IS a quite popular chap here tbf.

Got to admit, I'm glad Denmark won't be hosting a big race for a long time. Lot's of great possibilities to make racing interesting in Denmark yet they only seem to care about making the worst races in history.

That one day race is Herning is pretty cool, but got cancelled this year because of this farce.
