Poor Kristoff. Could've had a good sprint there if he weren't assaulted by Rabobank. Hopefully he isn't injured.

If they hadn't made a mountain out of a molehill with the Leipheimer incident, then I wouldn't call them out when they show their hypocrisy.

There was no reason for them to wait today, but there was no reason for Movistar to wait on the Col de Vence either.

farrar was lucky not to cause about 10 separate crashes in the last 3km, riding like a triathlete
Farrar is probably annoyed because he's no longer one of the top sprinters.

Sprint was more exciting than I expected today. Nice win by Cavendish, very well-deserved.

Luckily Sky didn't say Movistar should have waited either. They said they shouldn't have upped the pace.

Anyway, great win for Sky. Thomas always finds a way through.

what are you talking about? bos hit his own teammate. it was his own dumb mistake. as I said they don't know how to handle a bike. rabobank in sprint peloton is dangerous for everyone

You seem to amaze me time and time again. You must be the dumbest person I have seen on the internet. Ever. Your comments are more painful than a needle in the eye.

Again totally different situation. If Sky slowed down it would be raining attacks and they'd have lost the stage.

Movistar drilled the peloton for a second place in GC where the WT points won't even count

The stage win wasn't even for grabs anymore when Movistar did that and it wasn't even the final of a stage!

Nice to see Cav still has clear superiority - have to admit parts of last season started to feel like he may have been losing the differentiation.

But here he beat Goss with a bike length of clean air, having been stalled at 200 to go and starting level with less momentum. Everyone else 3 or 4 lengths back by the finish.

farrar certainly doesnt have the respect in the sprint like he used to, he got pushed around by every single person he got near in the last 3km

He seems to get bullied far too easily these days.

Cav winning not surprising at all... Well we had our fun at MSR.
Just hope he does not go on to win 5 stages, I like some variety in stage wins.
Poor old TGAK battered up at his home country. Hushovd is not too bad, fought very hard for positioning being alone and tried to go for it but really too early. Maybe wanted to sprint on the slightly uphill part of the finish.

Impressive by Thomas he isnt a sprinter but he placed Cav perfectly

Good effort, but in terms of effectiveness, not very good at all.

Not quick enough on the final straight, meaning Cav got boxed on both sides and had to check his pedelling to get out in to clean air.

Still think Thomas will do a fine job most of the time, but he's a 3rd man, 1km to 400m rider.

Did they just say in the German Eurosport that the mayor of Herning just died of a heart attack?? EDIT: Apparently it's the mayor of Horsens, and it's true... sorry if this has been commented already, haven't read the whole thread.
