I have no idea if this has been mentioned already, but it seems that the WC road race for espoirs will be broadcasted on the Dutch L1 TV anyway after it was seemingly certain that it was not going to be aired anywhere on TV. They managed to arrange it last minute with the help of several sponsors. According to sport-chef Maurice de Heus the espoir WC races are often the most exciting ones. ''Besides, the winners here are likely to be the stars of tomorrow'', he concludes. Broadcast kicks off at 11:00. Source.

L1 = Boss. I was really disappointed about not being able to see the espoirs road race. Imagine my elation when reading about L1 swooping in last minute to save the day.

Forgive me for asking this here, but do any of the Dutch posters know how the parking situation might look like on Sunday? Will I get to park my car within walking distance of the Cauberg if I get there around 11am?

It will be the Tom Dumoulin invitational. They probably still think he's a favourite for the world title...

It was a joke about L1, the local tv station in Limburg. Limburgers think Wout Poels is the second coming, and Dumoulin, being the only Limburger there, gets more than his fair share of attention.

What i'm looking forward about this WC is a "mano a mano" between Valverde & Gilbert to see who comes on top:D & mix it with Sagan, Purito & Gerrans.....

Yes, the obvious list of winners but someone always surprises on the day. Should be a really good race. I still think the Italians and Russians will play a part as well.

Agreed, Nibali I think is one of the guys that could ruin Belgium and Spain's race. And Kolobnev's 3rd in Montreal shows his form is good, Plus he's been the silver medalist twice at worlds.

yes that really sucks. but lately nobiody is opening race topics anymore

Nobody is stopping you from doing it right?

If you feel a race needs it's own thread and you see that nobody has done it you can either say that nobody does it anymore or create a new thread ;)
