Cauberg is a power climb, so an Ardennes Classics type rider has the best chance. This means Gesink is Dutch's best hope, which is pretty much nil. But I think he will be the Dutchman with the best result today.

Ok, never thought the first 100k would be so high paced. This will be a very tough race, not so sure now that sprinters like Freire and Boonen will survive this. Anyhow, very interesting development so far.

No they gave up at the right time. Group was too big after it split and the wind turns unfavorable there.
