Maybe he's simply given everything on the first half of the course. Although the commentators were discussing a problema tecnico.

Don't think it's a winning time by Garmin, too few guys were actually riding. Vansummeren could only hang at the back.

Yes, but given the Coldeportes time it may simply be that Saxo were better than expected. It's either that or Garmin underperformed and the Colombians absolutely sucked.

Colgnago came in 52 seconds down on Garmin. I think it was the case of Saxo doing quite well
