lol at the commentators and bartoli for ignoring il killer

he's the only one who can beat chris

Where's he going to do that? In the TT? I assume tomorrow is the best chance, but Horner doesn't look like a guy who's gonna be dropped.

Good to see my skepticism about Di Luca was unwarranted though...

If Sagan didn't attack, Kreuzeiger would have won

Maybe yes, maybe not. Thing is....Sagan started closing the gap right before they turned left. He didn't need to do that. He has the better sprint an a teammate ahead. Waiting a bit more for the events to unfold would make more sense to me. He really looked like he cared only about him self and the win (which is fine, if that was the team strategy for today)

Sagan very impressive. I guess we can make a midway conclusion that he can do well on distances up to 250k at least.

No explosion from J-Rod, Evans or Scarponi then Sagan can win. They walked up that climb to be fair.

Except they also dropped J-Rod, Evans and Scarponi

Sagan and Nibali showing the Schlecks what a 1-2 punch is supposed to look like.

Kreuzinger looking strong - good news for Astana.

I can't believe no one has hung up on Cipo yet. His grey box is over the stage results box.

Well, wouldn't be the first time Liquigas ****ed up the sprint/finish of the race. What was the stage last year when it was 4 of them and one guy from other team, and Nibali managed to get no bonus seconds, because his teammate beat him in the sprint for third (Sagan won there as well if I'm correct)

Anyway, sorta worried about J-Rod's form. Last year it was the injury, this year he seems to just suck so far

in the Gazzetta streaming they are saying Sagan and Basso have already re-upped their contracts with Liquigas (until when?) but Nibali hasn't signed yet

anyway the important thing is GO HORNER!!!

Looking back, he didn't need to. But this is real time decisions. Stop making things up.

Nope, Horner doesn't look at all like a guy who has just come back from major injuries/illness. Somebody spent the winter training.

If anyone was doing the exploding, it was Sagan. It's not like he was in trouble anywhere.

A 250km stage in a race isn't the same as a classic. In the end they only really raced the last 2 km of the 250, not something you really see in the classics.

Wow, Sagan, didn't quite expect that. I guess he could handle Amstel Gold and Fleche after all. Impressive win, he seemed in total control.

Amstel Gold maybe, but Fleche is a different kettle of fish altogether

Sagan is a force of nature. A guy, that heavy, winning on a final like this is exceptional.

Kreuziger, Horner and Nibali. all looking good.
