Do we have to talk about Contador in every race even he is not in the race???

Can we enjoy the race with riders in hand at least?

I hope is not going to be like that the rest of the season. Life goes on and we have to accept it as it comes.

Check out the username of the guy who introduced Contador into the discussion;)

Horner should do the Vuelta with it's massive climbing stages this year and steer clear of the Schleck's and the Tour. There no room for him there. His age does becomes more of a factor in a GT. He could do well the spain this year stage hunting.

We can say one thing for sure, age has not been a factor so far in Horner's career.

Doubt it, hope he wins this T-A though. If he loses T-A with 6 seconds I'll laugh very hard though.

I am surprised that you are saying that. It is way to early to make a good judgement. It has been more than 20 years since we have had a 100% Colombian team in Europe. They still have to adjust to many things. Let's give them more time.

Wll because of all the hype on these forums about the Colombians and how amazing they are and how they were going to tear up the peloton in the mountains at T-A and they are nowhere. If they are stuggling at T-A, what are they going to do in two months that will have them ready for the Giro. Other than nationality, what other reason was there for inviting them to the Giro, it doesnt appear based on perfromance.

TBH, they seem to have all the flaws that their predecessors from the 80s had, cant TT, not great on the flat but this group dont even seem great in the mountains like the 80s generation were. They need to improve serioulsy to justify that Giro invite because right now they look like a continental team. Endura look better qualified for the Giro.

It's in March, you shouldn't have expected much more. In fact, Luz Ardiden was even more boring than this.

I think the cold played some into the subdued nature yesterday and today.

Can anybody rate Kreuziger's ITT as oppose to Horner and others I don't have good handle on it?

Maybe Papi Horner will split the prize with Sagan? Or maybe he'll buy that beetroots plantation...

Kreuziger is good in short tts.

So is Horner obviously though the worry is the age.

Hope Horner wins.

Forget the 6 seconds and consider the enormously unfair 38 second advantage Horner was unjustifiably given at the start.

You are being annoying, like in your last quote. Have you still not realized the Colombians DO NOT HAVE A GIRO WILDCARD. They only had wildcards for Tirreno, and some other races. Not Giro. So you are making yourself look bad in those last 2 quotes.

Without those 38 seconds advantage they wouldn't let him attack so easily today though. There are 2 points to this sword.

That's why I want Nibali to win instead of Horner.

Lol an even better rant. Newsflash: Coldeportes were not invited to the Giro. Get off your soapbox.

By unjustifiable your saying that: TTTs should not be a part bicycle racing. ??
The trouble is, you would not being saying that with any other team in this race or would you?

The wind changed how is that unfair? It happens all the time in TTT ands ITTs...

The 6 seconds is a different matter :( As much as I respect and admire Sagan he can be a bonehead at times; just young and inexperienced I guess (hope).

Go Shark!!!

Coldeportes was not invited to the Giro.

The hype is not coming from Colombians in this forum. I know o few of the Colombians in this forum but they don't hype their Compatriots as much. The hype come from forumites from other countries. Believe it or not that is the truth.

Ok, my bad and apologies. Clearly my memory is slipping with age or it must have been all the hype that had me convinced they were going to the Giro.

Still they are not performing anywhere like expected so my other points stand and I was hoping for big things from them also.

On that climb on stage 4, Sagan was just another rider for Nibali to defeat when it came to the sprint. In a group of 5 i believe it can be right for team mates to abandon all loyalties and may the strongest man win. Nibali failed and the rest is history..

I think Hitch finds TTT unfair in general. Not because of changing winds.
