I can't imagine Sagan or Goss keeping up with climbers on the Colombiere. Certainly not with a GC lead train chasing behind. They would have to have over 15 minutes to survive the powerful pace the SKY train could inflict. No. I just think those guys are there to fight for the green jersey points right before the main climb and them just do whatever they can

Well, Sagan might not get to the colombier in the first group, however, do you remember what he did to cunego last year at tour de suisse? The descent from colombier is very long, than there 3rd category and another descent. Sagan might also win this by actually waiting for nibali, if they reach colombier not so much behind. If I was in the front and had nibali and sagan 2 minutes behind on colombier, I would be at least worried, that at least one of these two, would catch me to the finish line. And what is more, if there is Nibali without Wiggins on top of colombier, than there is very good chance there will be also guys like evans, ... And then also bigger gap than 2 minutes is doable. With sagan in the group, the winner obvious too.

It's too bad Voeckler is hurt this year. He was so fun to watch last year. I rooted for him, he was like the little guy to all the big GC boys.

Eros Poli would need 15 min. I think Goss and especially Sagan can do a bit better than that.

Besides Morkov the track cyclist, have we seen anyone, someone with some climbign abilities, who actually wants to be the spotted dick Virenque?

Kessiakof has stated that he will try to protect the jersey.
It also looks like Moncoutie is interested.

Whoever from the break makes it over the Colombier before Sky, could become a very useful tool for those planning an attack. Not just about having team mates up the road.

Harmon and Kelly disagreeing over Wiggin's mental strength.......
