No clue why he is still in the race (besides PR material...). It's a waste of time.

First HC and he is on the elastic.

EDIT: or is he just getting into his rhythm.

Well, he's back in the bunch, but towards the back.
The BOTD is down to the best climbers.
Lulu is already suffering.

Dan Martin dropped already. Gesink just returning.

Wow...

Does Gesink often sit at the back? Have seen him a few times 'off the back' but overtaking someone else. Maybe he is just happy to pedal along at the back on the flat rather than risk another crash.

Normally he rides in the front.

Perhaps, without GC ambitions he wants to sit in the back. It's very unlike him though.

No...when Gesink is good he doesn't sit at the back. The fact that LtD is Rabo's best climber and also the only one who didn't fall seriously says enough. The rest will not return to their normal level.

I think Lotto just wanted to see if Sky would react by going with them, or letting them go and then pacing them back - the fact they weren't strong enough to even distance EBH probably screwed that up though. I'm sure we'll see more attacks.

Slow tempo from Sky. If the other guys let that go EBH will pace them to the top and it is a wasted day.

Break pulling out, to give an idea, and lots of riders getting back onto the back of the peloton. Hell, Hincappie is still there.

One of the teams needs to put Sky under more pressure or they will soft pedal to Paris.
