One minor acceleration and it looks like he is off the back. He is obsessively staring at his power meter, spinning high cadence and struggling to hold the wheel of some guy in front of him.

I really don't see what the point of that is.

EBH isn't a bad climber by any means, but some of the people who've dropped off the back are rather surprising considering EBH is the one setting the pace.
