I am not sure that is true, can't see any evidence to support that.

Nibali and Evans have both won a GT and podiumed multiple others - that is the evidence that they recover well. Remind me when Rogers or Porte have performed well towards the end of a GT. And dont say Porte at the 2010 Giro, since at the halfway point he was 1st, and dropped to 7th in the last week...

As I've said 3 times. Next descent should be tough one. Nibali HAS to do something. La Toussuire is not hard enough to do anything on Wiggins by the looks of it.

don't think so, Nibali will save energy for the final climb trying to drop Evans to secure 3 place. hope i could be wrong

I wanted to say on the Croix de Fer, but there I was sure that the peloton will catch the break, but now I will say, if they will reach the finish, then I'm sure that Kiryienka will win. This guy is attacking only a few times but he is succeeding almost every time.

So how stupid has RSTN been today? Zubeldia is their best chance. Kloden, Schleck, and Monfort should have been pulling him up the mountains on their wheels for as long as they could (not Horner since he's been in the break). Let me guess... they've done nothing of the sort?

Awww hell, crap luck for Horner with that mechanical.

Well that is exactly what they did Schleck waited for Zubeldia when he dropped and paced him back to the leaders before the top of the climb

Evans doing his defence proud even if he doesn't remotely have it in the tank at all this year. Unfortunately for him he's opened the door today for Nibali to take his spot on the podium.

Total nonsense decision to deny Kessiakoff KotM points because of a phantom elbow.

EDIT: Common sense prevails

that is true, but this tour is a little strange, don't you agree? i can't see any fading sign of them.

From letour.fr live update:

"Radio Tour has corrected the order over the col de la Croix de Fer and the 5,000 euro for the special prize at the top - and the 25 points for first - was actually won by Kessiakoff, not Rolland.

Apologies for any confusion caused."

Edit: Too slow

Ah, um, yah OK, ta.

As for the why you would inject a toxic gas (for ozone is fairly nasty as gasses go) into your blood. I'll leave that to the quacks who suggest doing so.

I'm with you, I don't think he will not attacking per se, but he might want to lead the descent and put some pressure on the bad descenders.
