The Joker said:Nibali and Evans have both won a GT and podiumed multiple others - that is the evidence that they recover well. Remind me when Rogers or Porte have performed well towards the end of a GT. And dont say Porte at the 2010 Giro, since at the halfway point he was 1st, and dropped to 7th in the last week...![]()

FignonLeGrand said:They dont have four of the best climbers in the world. Sky are lucky that this is one of the weakest fields in a long time. Evans only won last year cos he was up against perenial failure such as schleck, and this year it is even worse. Everyone keeps on moaning about super human sky, we should be moaning about sub par field.
And lastly am I the only one who thinks that hoping for Nibali to 'attack' on a decent is a sense of deserpation. Who ever won a GT becuase they could decend the best?

I don't see any other teams with four riders in the lead group.FignonLeGrand said:They dont have four of the best climbers in the world. This doesn't seem all that dangerous.![]()

Nibali will take the sky train on the climb to drop Evans to secure 3 place, it is possible Evans don't have good legs today. We'll see.
