It was quite a good stage. Not spectacular, but as far as this Tour goes, not bad either. Well, not not bad, it was good :D
Kudos to Rolland before all, so happy for the guy. But also to Nibali, VDB and Evans who tried. They failed, yeah, but no one can say they didn't try. It's just that Sky is impressively strong.
Sucks Sky won't let Froome prove he's stronger than Wiggins.

3. NIBALI V. LIQ 02' 23''
4. EVANS C. BMC 03' 19''
5. VAN DEN BROECK J. LTB 04' 48''
6. ZUBELDIA H. RNT 06' 15''
7. VAN GARDEREN T. BMC 06' 57''
8. BRAJKOVIC J. AST 07' 30''

I foresee ten years of dominance in the TDF by Pinot.

I hope Contador stomps Froome for years in the Tour just to show him that you should never waste an opportunity to win the Tour.

As for Wiggins, congratulations on your pro wrestling title.

Meaningless victory.

Whar a load of rubbish

I just wish Froome that he will not have to regret this TdF missed chance... many times you get your opportunity just once

And yet he is 2 minutes behind the white jersey holder who is only a year older and who lost time being a good team player today...Pinot is good...Van Garderen is better

Excellent stage!
Wiggins proved he can survive multiple climb stage and he is top3-top4 climber in the Tour.
His main rival is Nibali. Too bad it won't be possible for Nibali to test Wiggins until next Wednesday. More mountain stages for GC = more chances Wiggins will crack.

Cadel had a terrible day plus that pointless attack at 60km made it even worse.
Hopefully he will try to get a stage win now.

On the bright side though TJVG was freaking impressive today!
Plus he had to make a big effort earlier on to to set up that cadel attack.
He proved me wrong about his climbing.
With consistency he is a real GC contender for the future.

Pointless in hindsight but waiting for the final climb was not going to work either. He had to try something dlwssonic as waiting for the final climb was not going to work for Cadel as nobody has a team to drop the Sky train. Nibali was very silly to pat Wiggins on the back today as he has lost the Tour himself.

Well done TJVG.

there is still chance for Nibali step one place up!!!!

but it will be very difficult to crack alien Froom
Maybe some downhills stage 16 to gain enough time

Froome spends a lot of time on the front for Wiggins, and both of them looked like cracking today. It's only halfway through.

Well...yes, but would Froome be there if he was on a crap team like Vacances Soleil ? The answer is : NO, so that takes care of it. He'll have full support for the Vuelta and if he wins, co-leader for the next TDF.

Much slower than past years, but maybe its much cleaner too. Will be great to see a KENYAN winner at long last.

Fixed it for you, am more and more convinced Wiggins will crack at some point after today

Wait what? That sprint for the line, gapping Nibali a bit, made Froome look like he was "cracking"?
