I think/hope Michael will win, he wants to win because his dad died this day five years ago.

Morkov is also a track rider who is quite quick so he could take the victory. You would also think that the sprinters would work hard for this. McEwen said the GreenEdge boys were hungry ftw.

Crosswinds make for a good race.:D

But on that note: this is exactly how Cancellara let his team down. You think he could have stayed one more day to help them on this stage.

Liquigas are not going to pull the break back. Thinking about green jersey it's better for them if those eight would go all the way to finish - less points available in the peloton for those who still want catch Sagan in points competition.

Gap has come down to 5'25". It will be a day for the sprinters.

Break's lead down to 5.25. GreenEdge at the front trying to keep the gap within reason. Probably hoping that other teams will join them if they keep the gap down. If there are crosswinds then there will be an acceleration later on anyway as teams try to make sure they get to the front and stay there.

Getting news in that the wind in the final 10km is very strong!

ECHELONS *****ES!!!!

Could be fun but I'll bet no one big will get caught out. Would be fun if the Sky guys got caught out just to bring a bit of excitement back into the GC.

BMC will try to do some damage in the x-winds. Not much chance of shifting Sky but maybe they can put some pressure on Nibali and more likely they can put Pinot under pressure and secure the white jersey for Van Garderen

This is BMC's terrain so let's hope they put the hammer down!

News coming in that the descent off the Saint Clair is technical and there has been an oil spill at the bottom of the descent. Sand is being put out now.

Mørkøv declared yesterday that he'd go in a break today to honor his father who died from cancer on this date 5 years ago.

I already cheered for him, but now I really want him to take this stage. He deserve a stage win.
I hope Greenedge will not f*** this up.

Well it's lucky Cancellara has gone home, or else he might have neutralised the stage

Why do you keep writing this nonsense? His wife is giving birth to his child.

Yep, if he's going home for the birth he has to go when it happens. He can hardly ask his wife to postpone for a few days can he? ;)

Look on the bright side! We're getting a little new spartacus (hopefully a boy) :)

I think this is obvious fan speculation but rider like Sagan and LIQ team are going to try another stage win.

Obviously they will go if (and very likely) it's going to be a bunch sprint. But they leave catching for other teams, mainly for Orica-GreenEDGE.
