So all mountain stages will go to the breakaway again this year? Tour stages really mean nothing anymore these days, poor Cav. I've seen kermiskoersen that were more hotly contested.

When you think about it, this has been the most intriguing Tour in recent memory. Why? Well, when was the last time we saw a rider get the yellow jersey early in the race, and just have his team ride tempo for the rest of the stages? Where the only lasting attacks come from people generally outside the top 20. Even Indurain showed some anger and chased people like Pantani when he wanted to.

Then I hear Paul Sherwin say it was good to hear a Vuvuzela. Hmph.

9'47" and still increasing...

I really have no idea how BMC, Liquigas or Lotto expect to win this race - maybe they are hoping, with the heat, they can let Sky go so slowly that they fall asleep, and then Evans & co can attack while Wiggo has a sietsa?
