Good to see Van Garderen is staying with leaders and not dropping back. Could be ahead of Evans at end of day with one more climb to go.

Sad to see him like this.

He is totally wasted. He will lose 10 minutes today.

Form+heat+bonked+dehydrated?

its like that said:
Evans will comeback on the descent anyway

Even if he does, it doesnt look good for the final climb. Evans isn't on anything like the form he had last year.

This is disappointing for BMC, because Van Garderen was much stronger then Evans on the Alps stage. Van Garderen could have been competing for a Top 5 on his own (I am not arguing with BMC keeping him to pace Cadel before today because Cadel does deserve that respect as the defeing champ to be given the benefit of the doubt)

Michel Wuyts claim to have internal sources in BMC (new people appearantly) that told him that their old team was better, that the atmosphere at BMC sucks.

They switched priorities today, because they allow TJVG to stay in the front

Typical Evans. Last year was excpetion.

It makes sense.

Evans doesn't exactly have a lot of time left in the Tour to make up lost ground. At some point BMC has to cut their losses and let Tejay go.

Especially if Evans drops on the final climb tomorrow. I mean, why stay with Evans when he can't make up the time anyway?

BMC's done a nice job of presenting a united front and saying the only goal is Cadel, but the way things are going, eventually you just have to go for what's in reach. And what is in reach right now is the white jersey.
