Sky wants to stop the peloton. Rest of peloton says, F... you Hagen
Instead of sitting there complaining they should just let EBH attack. It's quite clear by now that the break will win today.

Why Sky tries to slown down peloton? What a stage until now! Hopefully they keep high pace for the whole stage. And only realy strong riders will survive this. It could even influence GC.

That's just wishful thinking, the GC guys can get over these puny climbs with their hands tied behind their backs.

Not this break. The longer the breakaway takes to form, the more likely it is that it stays away. Everyone clearly wants to get into the break today, which means that few teams are motivated to chase.

Could be interesting if they carry on like this all the way through the feed zone. Dont think they will though:)

I somehow doubt that. Even in the worst case scenario atleast one top sprinter will make it over the climbs and I don't see how his team would let the break stay away.

Or the sprinters' teams want to make sure that the break just has 2-3 guys in who arent on any sprinter's team.

Break is caught - hard on the original guys... Sky just wanted Millar away 'cos they won't chase him as part of Cav's Olympic pay-forward.

Sky should chase it down in the end for Cav - they're not spending that much effort here.

Because they'll be knackered. The whole stage has been full on so far.

Fedrigo (FDJ), Vande Velde (GRS), Voeckler (EUC), Devenyns (OPQ) and Dumoulin (COF)

Plenty of Frenchmen and no one who matters for the jerseys. :)

Now to see how long they stay away, kind of hoping the sprinters' teams get it wrong and that the break just holds on in the last couple of hundred metres.

I doubt any of the teams behind are motivated to chase by now. They've used a lot of energy already. GE aren't confident in Goss' chances anymore and Lotto have won enough. Sky obviously won't chase either.
