I doubt it. They'll work, even if Cav wins everything. Otherwise they have to explain to their sponsors why they took a team for the sprints and then didn't bother trying to bring the breaks back.
Ah but they have to persuade the other teams that they won't work - that's the game of bluff. Anyway I don't think that Sky (the company) are going to give the team too much stick about chasing breaks.

That's not what I meant. Argos, Lotto and GE are here for sprints. If they don't work they will have to explain to their sponsors why they took teams to win sprints and then didn't bother to chase breaks.

Like I said, they'll (other teams) work, even if Cav wins everything (which I don't think he will).

We'll see mate ;) Knees, Eisel and EBH will be the only ones. Siutstou doubtful, but definitely no train.

Sure, there will be no train a lá HTC. But they need to have EBH reasonbly fresh with 500-700 meters to go, and to be sure about this they need to use a couple of guys setting that up.

Renshaw >> Cav.

It's not like they were really going full gas though.

Stage win is so much more important for him. If he doesnt win there, then we can say he failed :p

I know. This sort of follows the same line as my comment from intermediate sprint yesterday, stating that Cav is slow and he should quit the tour :D

Didn't look like much effort.

Yes, because there is only 1 point per place in the intermediates, so you just need to take part and get some sort of score.

He still went for points and got some. If he was not going for green he would say so, and until he does he will go for points, because he is clearly going for green at the moment.

Looks between Goss, Greipel and Kittel today then. Cav and Sagan not quick enough.

hm, they didn't look going at full speed ... we'll see when they will

It's all about keeping options open... Sky dont have to decide anything right now ... so they will keep a stake in all competitions.

(Cav wants to win in London - this will feature eventually in his thinking)

Great to see Lotto pulling for ages and Greipel is too lazy to even contest the sprint albeit an intermediate one. Looking like an Aussie or Cav will end up in Green in Paris.

I do not understand why Farrar, Petacchi and Greipel are even at the Tour. Your pedigree is sprinting and yet they take forever to get going. If you are not there you won't get results. Period. Rojas...well he fell yesterday so he is different, but these other guys. Stupidity. At least Cav tries.

Well Sagan, Goss, Renshaw & Kittel are the only ones actually going for it.
