Yep, took a lot of skill from Wiggans to purposely ride into that crash yesterday so that he was not to lose time to Evans

The word is gamesmanship.

And it's Wigan Town cf Bradley Wiggins.

Good one Harmon:

Tejay van Garderen - a very consistent rider, unless he has a bad day.

We can have some fun with that.

Sagan is a very good climber, unless it's a long/steep climb

Andy Schleck is a very good time trialist unless he has to time trial against opposition, other than his brother

How do you know he crashed purposely ?

There's a flaw in your question. He didn't crash at all. He pulled up behind a crash, stepped off his bike, had a look around, got back on his bike and cruised up the final climb like he was a little old lady on her way to the shops.

He knows the rules. RULES are clear. He got stopped by the crash. Means he will have same time as everyone involved in it.

Why would he pedal to the finish like maniac if he knows he'll have same time ?

Its' good thinking in my view.

Yes indeed. It was smart riding, taking advantage of a crash when he was getting dropped to avoid losing a few seconds. Much like a footballer taking a swan dive after real but minor contact has been made so as to ensure a penalty. Using the rules to your advantage is clever, but in cycling, as in other sports, it's also the sort of thing that grates with people.

Nobody likes Alain Prost.

However I am still not sure he did it purposely. We are not 100% how it was in the peleton at the time and if he could have made any other move.

It's different looking it from video and what really happend at the time.

Let's end this :p Let's just enjoy today's sprint and no crashes hopefully ... :)

Then he's a pretty bad bike handler

They said on ITV that he dropped his chain somehow, so stopped abruptly. But who knows whether that's true or not!

How come they are all shooting off the front today, when it made much more sense to go with Chavanel yesterday?

Yesterday was tougher and only strongmen could attack. Today was easier and so more riders can actually attack.

That's my line of thinking here

Maybe the fact that stage tomorrow has 0 climbs(so basically a rest day for most)

Most (maybe all) of the riders who went with Chavanel today, weren't in there for the last 10km.
