I don't think there's some big conspiracy going on between Orica and BMC
Frosty said:That's a bit unnecessary, he's not responsible. It was the first Friday last year where he had his big accident resulting in him having to retire.
Hugo Koblet said:Astarloza, Vigano and Danielson.
I guess the last one missing is Poels.
Froome19 said:I would say that he will have more succesful Tour than the KOM winner and possibly Sprint winner if by some ridiculous joke it is not him.

Fetisoff said:Well, we can agree to disagree here, I don't think there's too much of a point in going back and forth. I guess people's perceptions are different.
For me, I could probably name the KOM of every tour in the 2000s without having to look online. These are memorable.
I think(and I might be wrong) most people remember Soler winning KOM in 2007, and Rasmussen in 2006. Now would you be able to tell me who won 3 of the first six stages in 2006 without looking it up? I would be able to take a guess and be right about it, but I certainly didn't remember it for certain

ps: definite the biggest contender to lose time today

By my count, the time cut should have been 22 minutes, 9 seconds.nickel999 said:Getting close to the time limit for the stage- 30 minutes today?
SetonHallPirate said:Interesting that they gave the first nine riders a four-second gap on #'s 10-wherever. Obviously, none of those nine riders are likely to be within a half-hour of the yellow jersey in Paris, but I'm just somewhat surprised, I guess.

luckyboy said:Horrible riding by GreenEdge, so happy they lost. Ruined a lot of GC guys races with their actions.
Sagan is incredible.
Frosty said:From Wiggins point of view, yes, and his GC is the main goal. However, EBH, Cav and Porte were all caught behind the crash - dont think they were badly involved in it.
jens_attacks said:just like i said last year on the same day i guess....fucc this tour.
just one more stage and then we would have had all the favourites right there ready to fight on the planche des belles filles
and then what?
grenade at the front of the peloton
rolland is buried
valverde,gesink,hesjedal all gone
jani gone.
frank gone
damn what a bad day
still i have to be content and we all should, that these guys are still in the race and hope they will attack straight away
sorry for all of those who abandoned.it can all happen so fast....
chapeau for cobo, who was a beast for valverde today
bow down to hulk, certainly a new cycling god which i can no longer deny or dislike.
Frosty said:Only Poels left. It is possible that he lost his timing chip along the way. Also possible that he was very badly hurt but is struggling on trying to finish the stage rather than retire.
