Some good sprinters left, nizzolo, GVA, meersman.

This route sucks so bad compared to last year.

Garmin to open a crash test centre?:D
Kreder was their barrier surfer.
Maybe they ought to locate it in Dutchie land.

I am happy for Nizzolo, he seems like a nice guy and he gets a lot of good placings (already last year too) but rarely wins (this is only his second win among the professional ranks). Usually he doesn't have a train like this and has to manage by himself. It seems he also has the maillot jaune now.

IINM this makes him the third (!) RSNT rider to win a race this year

Is it true that no Dutchie has won a stage in the Tour in the last SEVEN years?

To think that us Brits enjoyed a total of seven stage wins from four different riders in just this latest edition.

Oh and 1st and 2nd on GC just for good measure. :)

Last 6 years actually, last win was in 2005.

Not that I care though, I'm watching cycling, not Dutchmen cycling.

Not that I disagree that many Brits are pretty smug at the moment,
I'm not at all nationalistic when it comes to cycling.

It's not as if I haven't posted a gentle leg pull over a Dutch tumble, before?
Merely an attempt at humour over the observation that both Dutch riders and Garmin have had more than their fair share of bad luck with crashes, these past few weeks.

Thank you for proving my point.

Can you count? That's 7 years ago.

Still with all the talent they've shown at really young age they should have done a lot more. Somewhere something goes wrong, a lot bad luck but also not getting optimal results out of their clear physical talent.
Oh well... we're used to it by now

Vaughters has been working on the crash antics for a long time now.

But I am sorry to see anyone crash. What might Tommy D and Samu have brought to the mountains this year?
