Making such half-hard stages which yet are guaranteed to end in a bunch sprint is like giving Sagan victories. Had every stage so far been flat, Kittel would've been the one who won 4 in a row. It's a bit like making a race in which every stage ends on a 1 km climb at 15% - you'd just know that Purito would win every stage easily. I'm not saying half-hard sprint stages are bad, because I obviously prefer those to completely flat stages, but there should at least be some diversity.
