Van Garderen in excellent form with a very good split time. But will he survive Baldy on saturday?

Voigt was pretty amazing on the second part though, took approx half a minute on Tjallingi on the last streak. Great by TJVG still!

He struggled on climbs in april and march yeah. But I think he's on much better form here. He even said he was feeling very strong in the early days in California when there was high pace.

I disagree, he was pretty decent in february races, top 10 in the harder stages there. No different than normal in early season form. But where you normally jump in form to march/april, he didn't. Probably because of his leg not being strong enough yet
