If you mean because Bos also won the first stage then yes ,but if you mean because Greipel shows good early form like Bos last year and will fade away just like Bos then I highly doubt it.
I meant because Bos beat Cav twice in Oman. But it turns out Greipel didn't really beat Cav.

I do expect Greipel to fade away a bit though, like he used to do when he was so strong in the TDU.

But Greipel has really improved since last year. At the Giro in 2010 he lost to a lot of sprinters he regularly beats now, even in July. I hope he'll ride more then one GT this year.

I predicted Greipel would challenge Cav in the smaller races :p (normally that wouldn't be a prediction worth saying, but this year Cav looks on form for even the smaller races).

He certainly didn't look in form in one of the posted pictures of him in Qatar but he won stages anyway. Scary stuff.

Andre Greipel is this year's Theo Bos.

Dennis Galimzyanov is starting to look like this year's Tyler Farrar............along with Tyler Farrar.;)

I hope he is ok. I'm sure he wants to ride for the win in the Omloop again.
Actually Langeveld wants to peak in Flanders/Roubaix and has taken an easier start compared to last years

Are seeing a resurgence of the 2010 tactic of getting rough with Cav & his train?

There was only one corner in the whole race today. And....5 guys managed to drop themselves on it. Hate to imagine a Crit race today!!!

Greg Henderson.

160k....1 corner.... 1 pile up nice one guys

Ian Stannard, also retweeted by Cavendish. Suggesting he is pointing the finger somewhere....

Ran off the road by Alexander Kristoff with 1200m to go, sh*t happens well done Andre Greipel
Always the gentleman... can't he just close off all communications for one hour after the race?

Anyway it's good to see TGAK get a mention on Cav's twitter.

You're right, I'd prefer it if all riders kept their mouth's shut and offered no input/anecdotes on the day's racing. In fact I don't even want CN to do a report, just a list of the top 5 and no explanation about how it happened.

So I'm guessing what actually happened was Kristoff being ran off the road by Cav.

And Galimzyanov, another second place. How many does he have now in the last couple years... A dozen at least probably?

The Orange and Blue Crash Army have outdone themselves again today. One corner in the whole race, and three Rabo riders crashed: Brown, Leezer, and Vermeltfoort.
