This is pretty disappointing, been looking forward to this for quite some time, then in the last days I read there is a lot of wind (some cyclists said that via twitter) and then this happens :(. Hopefully more wind in the next stages.

Loads of wind in the women's race, hence hopes were raised.

not spotted japanese one yet but damn the canadian champ one is not good

they were both on the front at one point. both red trunks white jersey and the maple leaf / red sun? on the sleeves. it looks exactly the same unless they get close enough to distinguish the maple leaf. Or if they sit up probably :p

He sucked before the crash as well.

He was pretty good at u23, so I still had some hope for him showing at least something this season, but if he's going to crash in his first race this year..... meh....

Oh God, Cav didn't win.

It's funny actually as the Cav fans were saying Cav was going to own this year, even in the early season.

I mean, everybody knows Cav will win 4-6 stages and the green jersey in the Tour again, but Cav fans are getting worried it seems

Wow Bonnen! Nice to see him back to winning ways although his season will be judged in 2 single days. But nice win anyway

Looked as if Boonen were the only rider who had energy left to sprint with. He'll get the GC for sure.

Never mind Cavendish
A great day for British Cycling with Blythe coming 2nd and Fenn winning over in Mallorca!
Shows how not all the British talent is based in Sky.
