you're more or less right: he'll attack at the very bottom to gain a 15s advantage, then hold that pace while everyone goes by him later :p

I hope that doesn't mean that Froome and Nordhaug have been doing work on the front. Zandio, Lovkvist and Sivtsov should have been enough to control the race up until that point.
