I said it a couple of pages back, there's no way he'll win a bunch sprint in this race. He doesn't have a single guy to help him in the sprint as Sky only has climbers in this race. He's unfortunately unable to position himself decently without a leadout. Today he never even got to start sprinting as he was completely boxed.Trofinios said:Can someone wake EBH the f**k up! Why? So he could have the winner wrong?MartinGT said:Kirby is gutted, he was desperate for Bol to win that!

he got boxed
Even unboxed he hasn't really looked fast so far this year. Call it the Farrar syndrome.maltiv said:I said it a couple of pages back, there's no way he'll win a bunch sprint in this race. He was top 5 on almost every stage of TDU though which is pretty good for a non-Australian. I don't think he has looked slower than usual. However, his training this year is 100% centered on PR and RVV so he's not doing any specific sprint training.theyoungest said:Even unboxed he hasn't really looked fast so far this year. Some of the favourites lost 7 secs, wonder if its a matter of shape or they are just taking it easy and waiting for stage three.
Of course Luis Leon loses some time as well. When will this guy at least pretend to give a ****?FF'Wilco said:Ful results:

Bol is a classics rider too. Don't know why they expect him to win a sprintdjlovesyou said:Young Dutch guy, rides for Rabobank.
Carlton was tipped off by someone about him being a 'star of the future' so decided to try to convince us that he was one of the favourites for this stage.
