Chunks of the peloton being spat out on this little 3rd cat.
Positioning for the final climb so important.
BMC? Gilbert?

Harmon reckons it's 38C.

Edit: It's 37.5.:D

John Lelangue said that this stage may well suit Gilbert, but he may have to contend with super-motivated GC contenders, like Rodriguez and Valverde, in order to pull off a stage win today.

That is provided no one is riding to prevent him from winning as opposed to trying to win themselves as he claims his opponents have been doing all season.:D

Seriously, I don't see him winning this. He hasn't seemed to be anywhere near what he was displaying last year and the end of 2010.

Thanks. That's what I thought. Great cyclist, terrible announcer.

Once you get used to the lack of inflection in his voice, he's actually the most insightful English language commentator.

Its the 7 time Paris-Nice winner (and Contador fan boy) Sean Kelly. :)
Sean Kelly's very knowledgeable and puts his knowledge across in a nicely understated and concise fashion. I think he becomes more interesting the more you get used to him.

looks like saxo / tinkoff have plans for the finish and keep setting pace every time the gap to frontgroup are going the wrong way
