Even he has crazy form and has strength to win like 6 stages or something, he will probably give a few stages to people and win like 2-3 mostly

Didnt he come to giro 2011 to win "stages and all jerseys"
He gaveaway 2 stages, didnt cared at all about final time trial and mountain jersey as well

7 MTFs? Wow... talk about a GT for the climbers...
That's what lights up the race though and gives the riders numerous chances to gain time. I approve.

I'm surprised people are so completely confident that Contador will be in good form though. He obviously won't have much racing in him when the Vuelta starts.

I'm not so sure either. That's why I try to bring down the hype a bit.

Yes but people think his attitude has changed.

I have a question that has been bothering me for a while:

Until what age will Alberto perform?

Because I think that he can continue to win in 2012 and 2013 but after that I just can't see it happening.

That's partially why I'm so sad; because I know he will never achieve what he could have achieved and because he won't earn a place in history. In a few years from now only his fans will remember him.

He will prbably be on his current awesome level until 32ish, then he will probably loose some of his punch in his accelerations. But he will still follow the very best in the mountains until like 35 i'll guess and probably be able to win the Vuelta until he is like 36-37 ish

Yeahh, after that he doesn't care anymore for 10 ten places in GT's so when he gets dropped he'll go on massive suicide attacks every single time to try to win it. Like the last stage of PN 2009.

Following the best is not good enough though.

He'll become thirty in December.

Why the concern then:rolleyes: Vuelta 2012, TDF 13/14/15:) Don't worry about his status in this sport, I've probably been following cycling before you were even in nappies and he is EASILY the best GC rider I've seen.

Yeah, he made an insane attack last year for fun, something is telling me he's not gonna quit as long as he's having fun competing in bike races

I was watching that stage with a couple of friends, I was like "I will get some stuff to eat and drink, do you want some"

Then he attacked, were were like WTF is going on, thats why I like him :)

Yes, he is the best but that doesn't matter if he doesn't get a palmares like Merckx or so.
