The Hitch. He is awesome. He and Zam are my favourite posters. And he is the thread starter. And he likes Alberto

Yeah, but.. God died?

Well just a failed touchstone:D
. From a cycling point of view i just hope that Contador will find his old level at some point at least. It'd be a sad sight to see him unable to put an attack.

Yes that would be sad :(

What do you mean?

You should take that BS to the Clinic. There are also a bunch of Sky/Wiggins/Froome threads there. You might like them.

+1. I feel the need to lose myself in a 3-week soap-opera/bike race - it just has not happened yet this year. I'd hate to head into winter without that experience in 2012!

Just the very best GT rider currently riding. Deserves that kind of nickname imo.

All those fantasy novels youve been reading are not real history you know. Most kings become kings after the previous king passes away which in cycling terms would be retirement.

And its perfectly possible for someone to become king where there was none before. Or do you think there was a king of England for example 65 million years ago.

Lance was already 37y old in the tdf 09 and was out of the sport for about 3 years. Contador never rode against guys like Ullrich/Robo-Basso/Lance.

Elizabeth II never fought Richard the Lionheart/Henry VIII/ James I etc. Still a monarch isnt she?

If the white Maasai warrior rides la vuelta he will dethrone "the king "

No he won't. If we're going that way Little Levi was the one who dethroned Alberto. But wait, before that there was Cadel... And before that Andy... And before that Luisle... So who is the king?
