i thought martin looked very strong in the team time trial took big turns, they had alot of solid tt riders but bmc did have strong 3or4 riders still lost and that shows how strong martin is for me.

Little talk of kessiakoff who has proved very useful in tt's on bumpy terrain has great chance in my view of podium, tejay only other threat i see.

***** Martin
**** Kessiakoff, Van Garderen
*** Contador, Durbridge, Malori, Phinney
** Tuft, Castroviejo, Chavanel, Pinotti, Sergent, Westra
* De Gendt, Navardauskas

OK. I will agree completely so as not to upset what I think will really happen.:D

In the Women's, the climb didnt really play that much of a role. I fully expect him to see him up on the first time check by a good 20 seconds, and everyone to declare the tt over.

Besides, T mart was in far worse form at the olympics and still managed silver in a stronger field.

Who does everyone expect to be best of the young guns? It should be a close battle between Phinney, Durbridge, Castroviejo, Van Garderen and Sergent.

My money is on Phinney or Durbridge.

I say Phinney and Van Garderen.

Yes, absolutely.

Martin is the current world champion, Contador is not a world class TTer like Martin, Wiggins or Cancellara. So Martin has few minutes to spare with Contador's time, even though he's not is top form as many claim. But hey, didn't he win a gold medal few days ago? Didin't his team give all the credit to him for the victory? :)

Opinions varies, and thank god for that.
Contador is not a world class TTer? What planet are you from?

The course is the tough part of this question as I expect Durbridge to not only be the best of the young guys but also to threaten Martin and Contador for the win. He is big though and if this is a bit hilly for him, the best Aussie and also a young gun could well be Cam Meyer. He had a great Vuelta and will climb a bit better than Durbo. OGE had a good strong TTT and both Meyer and Durbo were in the surviving 4 finishers, so they are obviously riding pretty well.

I'm expecting a very good ride by van garderen. He looked very strong in the TTT, too strong actually. this course suits him well too.
Contador for the win!
