Everybody's just waiting for Luigi to solo off the front and TT for 30K. They are all just riding for second and they know it.
In the Road Race Section, his name is Cancellara. Please respect that. You can call him Luigi in the clinic.

People call Valverde Piti here. Its a nickname, not explicitly talking about doping.

The mods need to make up their minds about this, it's one or the other. Pick a side.

Piti is pretty common yes. Luigi is more like Clentador.

Yea, but a lot of people get their panties in a wad when I refer to him by his Mario Brothers name.

Luigi isn't a nickname for Cancellara, you want to call him by a nickname call him spartacus.

Maybe because Piti is associated with Valverde because it has been proven. Cancellaras name being Lugi is just pure speculation, even though it could be true.

Yeah fair enough. I don't call Cance Luigi but Pit is always Piti

I don't want to sound like a tight a-ss, but why not always call people by their actual name? We're not 12 anymore.

Calling him "spartacus" gives him respect he doesn't deserve. The other nickname was one he brought on himself. And he deserves it.
