Chavanel was a lot better the last couple of races, so he is a bigger favorite. Thomas is probably below Cancellara, Sagan, Boonen and Chavanel as a favorite, at the same level as guys like Pozzato, Langeveld, Van Avermaet, Roelandts etc. Less than 1% seems a bit harsh, but it's not much higher.
chavanel is part of the Boonen strategy, his chances are conditioned to what will go on with the team. In a race like this, it could mean heavy work at tough moments, whereas Thomas will be managed differently. In all this year will prove to be interesting. The excitement is growing.

if it is 5% or higher my bet will show a profit in the long run

If fab wants to win he will need to create the winning move, sagan has more ways of winning and i do believe hes strong enough but he also can miss the move and end up being told to chase it all himself.

Don't see bonnen winning, this field is just too strong for him to get it. Dark horse could win this.

Anyone else having to negotiate the minefield of Easter family activities/plans in order to watch?

I'm in for so much trouble if I sit watching Eurosport all day.

Luckly lunch with relatives is at my place, so i can watch it between each course :D

If Fabian isn't on his own after the last Paterberg, he won't win. Remember the wind on the final straight last year? Headwinds again this time.

Hoogberg/Hotond and Kwaremont are places where Cancellara can build sufficient advantage. Paterberg is where the chasers can reduce it.
Which lap and succession of climbs he'll choose, depends on conclusions from E3 Harelbeke.
Sagan should make sure to finish it off in the sprint, OPQS and Sky to have enough man to mark all attacks in order to save their leaders, and others to find themselves in the right break and hope for the best.
I'm expecting spectacular race. It's special occasion.

What do people expect Cancellara to do if he and Sagan get to the top of the Paterberg together on the final circuit? Would he refuse to ride and force Sagan to make the pace?

Yes. He indicated he'll do that.
But I think he'll stop pulling just under 10 k's to go, if he realizes he can't ride Sagan off of his wheel. Till then he should be trying.
