You really think this is acceptable for a professional athlete?

Who is the victim here?

When he grabbed the girl from behind today, there the victim was the girl and that was very wrong behaviour.

But a tshirt which explains how sex works. What is this, Cromwell's Commonwealth of England?

Somewhat the same with this though:

Whether they like it or not to get messed around with, podium girls do tend to like being around riders. Maybe they shouldd've asked her what she thinks about it, then we really know.

Yes you are right i can certainly see sexual harassment in this image. (Sarcasm)

If some dude pinched a woman's **** in an office environment that would be terms of sexual harassment, But it's ok for Sagan to do it because he's a famous cyclist.

Fantastic to watch today...the last 30 minutes especially. Glad the big fella got some recompense for last year. He looks unstoppable in that sort of form.

It would be a shame if Sagan turned into cycling's Joey Barton/Gazza. I hope he gets a serious bollocking for the grope...and with any luck we can put it down to the folly of youth.

I think deep down everyone here knows i'm right about Sagan's image but due to the fact an Englishman is taking notice of this people on this forum seem to think its unacceptable and are trying to brush off the issues of concern.

There are plenty of women who might feel attracted to a man, but will feel very very embarrassed, used and upset if he starts grabbing them in public, especially if they dont even know eachother.

Women have feelings too you know.

Why is it then that people from time to time actually agrees with The Hitch?

I think youve taken the nationality card a bit too far now.

Doesn't even make any sense. Plenty of people here are english, including half the people who tell you that your Sagan obsession is getting tiresome.

I think that picture was taken on a party with family and friends. As long as he doesn't wear a swastika or something he can do whatever he wants there.

Just to clarify, I don't under-estimate the seriousness of a sexual assault...which is what it was. There are a number of high profile cases in the UK at the moment involving former/current television/radio personalities.

She's working for a sponsor. Image is everything. Millions were watching. You think she felt she had much of a choice in public?

She did have a choice though: not applying for a job consisting of showing her pretty body to the world and kissing the winner of a bike race.

It's not as if Sagan had run after the first woman he saw and touched her ****.

Sagan is an immature brat, yes, but let's have some perspective.

It's no secret how much i love my country since you can see the union jack in my avatar and some people got the hump about this, I think it was made clear to me by the reception i recieved when i first joined in on these forums with some very rude comments.

Like British riders have no place in cycling and anything that came from my mouth was invalid because of this.

He was just joking, but you're not seeing that this was just another day at the office for Sagan.

It all makes sense to me now.

People sound genuinly offended here, go ask that girl what she thinks.

Good week for Leopard:(

First the new sponsor and now their first monument win.

so nice, nice nice win for Fabian. his wife breaking in tears after the line hugging him. you could see how much he wanted a monument win. his wet eyes in the changing room.
think about the last 3 years at Leopard. they've passed through any kind of bad luck and obstacles.
I am so happy for Fabian, for Guercilena, all the guys.

That sounds dangerously close to "she was wearing a miniskirt, she was asking for it". Or to "she actually enjoyed it".

Funny, I never received these quotations when I joined, and to my knowledge nor have any of the other posters from Britain which probably is the most represented country on here anyway.

You have some quotes to back that up, or did you make it up?

Like i'm going to trawl through 2 years of activity on the forum

Again maybe it has something to do with the fact i was making a statement of how much my country means to me i don't know dig up the comments and ask those why they dislike me.

But let's not make this a thread about me lets make this about de ronde.

I agree, it was a bit of a **** move from Sagan on the podium. Don't get the support for it on here.

It was 1 thing when the girl at the Tour last year asked him to sign her breasts, its another when a girl who signs on to kiss the winner on the cheek gets grabbed from behind.

Pretty sure she didn't ask him to do that.

He's a cool guy on the bike but seems kind of a 'jock' guy off it.

The sport shouldn't have podium girls anyway. Would be way cooler to have old riders or just have the organisers/mayor/sponsors do it instead like Formula 1 does.

Let's see it from a male perspective (it's the only thing some men can do): what if you were her boyfriend? Would you like this?

It's just a disrespectful thing to do. A podium girl isn't a wh.re. And even a wh.re you have to pay to do this.
