Cannondale: how about Moser for the more selective races i.e. LBL, um, FW?

Actually he doesn't stand a chance in FW. Not even the slightest, not with the competition he faces.

LBL maybe. It's quite the tactical race you'll never know what might happen. Anyway it's also a race where the strongest almost always wins so it will be hard also there.

Sagan or not, I still believe his best chance is really AGR or this Brabantse Pijl. And by the way, Sagan's presence could really benefit him yet again.

but is this a race more that suits more to tour of flanders and roubaix guys, or are the uphill sectors to long for them and its more favorable for the ardennes and amstel gold races riders ?

I would say Roubaix is so special, although Cancellara and Boonen did the double, they are very different, as Roubaix is completely flat.

Brabantse Piil is somewhere in between Flanders and Amstel (not only the date is, also the characteristics are). It´s 50k shorter, though. There were riders like Freire (Sagan could be the next one) who did well in Brabant (won it three times) and liked the Flemish as well as the Ardennes races (yes, Freire often did well in LBL and was even better in Fleche Wallonne and Amstel).

I voted Gilbert. He will blast away from Sagan dragging Chavanel with him and catch on to Moser who attacks 30 or so km out.

Pineau perhaps?
He has done well in this race before, and looked quite sharp on the first two stages in Pais Vasco.

nice gesture, however I am curious if it was his own idea or he was just encouraged to do it by someone.

Btw, here will be hd stream of brabantse pilj for 0,7 euro, if anybody is intersted. I am not sure if it will be geo restricted though.

Yeah, there appears to be a fast start, like we've seen in other classcis this year as well. Still no group got away. Fast starts like these are usually good for the racing later.

Nice to see Deignan back in action, he was really good at Vuelta 09

i remember him as the guy who crashed in a turn in giro 2009 before hitting blockhaus.
