Oh i see he has intestinal problems.

I guess Froome will win the ITT then

Cycling expert Cartlon Kirby, to show off all the knowledge he has to all those fans who know nothing about cycling, guaranteed Tony Martin would win the time trial.

Looks like Cartlon's prediction is in doubt. Would be strange to see cycling expert Carlton Kirby get one wrong.

It's because of the French tennis, which the French seem to think more people are going to want to watch than this race, but if the quick snippet I saw by mistake of some nobodies pottering around last night is anything to go by, I'm not so sure. The centre court or whatever they call it at Roland Garros must have had about 75 spectators in it, tops, for the evening match.

off course more people will watch RG, a tennis grand slam, than the dauphine, get real. And the gasquet/wawrinka epic on Suzanne Lenglen court was epic!

get a sense of perspective....

The words "epic" and "tennis" in the same sentence is enough to strike fear into the hearts of anyone who's ever seen that the live sport they want to watch on Eurosport is scheduled after a tennis match. In a time when sports are trying to rein themselves in and make sure they don't run too long, a tennis match is such a selfishly sprawling mess; after all, it's pretty much the only sport these days where there's no time restrictions, and, technically, a single match could last forever, assuming no one ever gets their two games ahead in the final set. Players like Nadal wandering over to rub their head with a towel after every serve certainly doesn't help things as they meander towards their mindcrushingly dull conclusion.

Try to play a 5 hour match without significant break, then you'll understand this towel-thing:eek:

Hopefully someone will light things up early on that last climb. Atleast Taaramae said that if he has anything in his legs, he will give it a go.

well, French Open pays out EUR10M in prize money. Unless somebody prints the stuff in a basement somewhere, that cash must come from somewhere.
