How long was Contador's turn ?

Nice work by him to get Rogers onto the podium.

Why did Froome do no work, could have got Porte the stage win if he'd actually taken a turn.

Another stuff up by Astana, I don't think Samu was bluffing but of course sprinting for the finish is anaerobic - he should have gone for a long one earlier.

Grats Samu.

Heh. On the Noyer Voeckler looked dead and Barguil passed him easily and yet at the finish he beat Barguil by 1:45.

Well, he always looks dead

Stef Clement now Blanco's best climber.

Parallels with 2009: Clement = Wiggins

Whoa did not realise the extent of the similarity. Niemiec = Pellizotti? We can look forward to another late blooming GC guy who rode Giro having a breakout as well. OMG Francis Mourey will top 5? Or maybe Stef Clement :D

It was cool seeing Alberto work for Rogers. He should really consider doing this full time:p

He's certainly better than Froome at pacing a higher-placed team-mate.

So Geraint Thomas is now one of the best climbers in the peloton...

just imagine what will happen when Sky figure out a way to make their riders descend well.
He's still not as good as Stef Clement though.

Contador was impressive. Kept Rogers out of trouble and did not push hard enough to enable Sanchez to be caught. Porte needed to react 1 km earlier and it would have been all over.
