Guess what...

...I'm also against that!
Of course you are now. Would have suited your argument better if you had brought Nibali up as an example earlier.

Anyway what is wrong with it?

GC standings after the stage will decide the KoM jersey, right? So Visconti will probably get it unless Wurf can hang on out there until the TV sprint (w/ bonus seconds)?

Eurosport UK - dude saying Wiggo disrespectful to Giro by talking about double ? Trying to spice things up I guess because I don't see his point...guy with thick accent (Kelly ?) saying it's not. So can anyone fill me up on the names of the commentators?

Actually it was someone on Twitter who tweeted in asking it wiggins was being disrespetful to the giro by talking about the tour and the commentator read it out and explained the interpretation.

he has to hold on for another 30 kms so i don't think it will be impossible considering that OPQS and argos don't want to catch him too early to avoid other attacks.

Even then though, he would need to stay in the péloton at the end, which at present Visconti is safely esconced in.

I hope Wurf can somehow hold on as he truly seems like a super nice guy. I'd recommend his blog too which is often an interesting read.

I am plating the ball. I'm asking what you have against a rider who won a gt getting to ride around in the leaders jersey for the opening stage the next year. What is wrong with it?

Scarponi was a far worse example because he got given the giro a year later in the courts on a technicality.

Sky's marginal gains don't apply to wheel changes apparently, that took a while. :p
Not watching it at then moment, but could it have been slow due to the UCI insisting on lawyer tabs?

I don't know if I am going to be able to put up with Declan one tone Quigley for three weeks without throwing something at my telly. The guy could send someone who is hyperactive to sleep by his talking. Bring back Harmon.

I thought it was strange but I don't hold it against Michele, after all in the books he won the Giro, but he never got to wear the maglia rosa, so at least he got to race in rosa once.
