You think it's been a bit of a disaster for Sky, then you remember two stage wins and Uran in third overall and team's new Giro leader."

Yeah, Brailsford definately agrees with that...

The way he has been climbing and the way he spoke in the cyclingnews interview on the front page doesn't bode well. I think he'll suffer in the mountains and eventually finish between 8-10th

hmmm, first MTF and after a rest day always gives weird results, but yeah, unless he somehow improves his climbing performance, he should go down a few places in the GC in the mountains still to come

I think he can still be 3rd. I have serious doubts on Evans' performance over 3 weeks.

Then still I can see guys like Pozzovivo, Betancur, perhaps even Kiserlovski and Majka pass him still. And no way Gesink will pass Uran now that Uran is a leader
Scarponi maybe, but he didn't look good in the mountains so far either

We'll see, but I'm afraid of Majka though

Wiggins lost 30 seconds on a mountain stage which didn't play to his strengths only two days ago, he can't be that ill. He is clearly completely shot to pieces mentally.

Considering he's quoted as saying that he considered pulling out of the Tour while wearing the yellow jersey all because Froome took a brief flier off the front in the mountains is a testament to his mental fragility. Hearing that from him shocked me.

Bouhanni Quits the Giro.

Blimey! Any link please?

Also, whilst I'm here. Anyone else think that break would have made it today had Wiggins not been dropped? My theory being BMC would not have pulled to gap Wiggins and the sprint teams alone would have missed the boat today.

And yet another monumentally courageous performance by sir lord of the octagonical table Wiggins. If the other GC contenders weren't a bunch of bone idle wonker knots, they would have summoned 1/500th of the amount of courage Sir Brad possesses in his little toe and put 47 minutes into him today. But no, and the results speak for themselves.

And what's up with that other Sir Lord dude? He should be lettin real Eye-tallians have the glory in their homeland, just like when Cippolinni never went to France so as not to embarrass anybody.

Thanks. I'm surprised too as he's no Kittel or Gavazzi when it comes to bumps in the road and tomorrow would have suited him just fine I think. Oh well, here's hoping he's super fresh for TdF and continues to show great promise.

Worth noting for the three people that care, Sky still does lead the team classification!

Johan Bruyneel, Lance Armstrong and who is the third person?

:D

Dude...I know this is CN where anything goes but how about WATCHING BeIN before making that useless and boorish comment? They have a special 45' Giro talk show called "GIRO-PHARE" with 5+2 people !

oh, ok, I did watch it on bein sports a couple of days ago but apparently I missed that post race show. I thought you were talking about the post race interviews done by Daniel Lloyd (what is also more than you usually get to see on Eurosport)

Al Jazeera are covering the Giro?

yep, it's on Al Jazeera Sports 1

There is no denying that Wiggo is sick, guys as strong as him on the flat do not lose that much time otherwise. However it's no excuse for him not winning this race, his descending in the wet would have cost him anyway.

If he carries on and gets better he will be a very good domestique for Uran next week, wouldn't suprise me if he packed up and went home though...

Right, my friend :)

And concerning Evans, I also agree. I´ve been wondering for a long time why Ferrari hasn´t worked on Evans´ arms, to make them skinnier. He (Ferrari) even wrote some day on his website "53x12" how this is normally done (clinic issue), but seems not to have worked for Cadel. But didn´t work for Lance, either, who also didn´t manage to get his arms skinnier during all his career.

evans is natural, he has nog big arms at all, only a very big chest(not muscled btw). lance isn't natural just look at when lance returned how much like w powerlifter he looked with his fat gut. similar problem has gilbert.
