Why was Cavendish mad at Avila when they crossed the line? Could be that he was just mad in general aswell and that it looked like he was mad at Avila

because he's a crybaby

Navardauskas has pretty much been the revelation of this Giro. He's incredibly strong in all terrain. Now he's won the bunch sprint in the peloton two days in a row as well.

Could Garmin send him, Martin and Hejesdal to the Tour? That would liven things up no end:)

Wonderful fairytale for Visconti. Presumably, he'll only get stronger for La Vuelta

He probably wanted to roll across the line 1st 'just in case' (especially since OPQS had done all the work in that group).

Think there was a stage of the tour in 2010 (Roubaix stage?) where he didnt sprint and there were points available, although there were only a few on offer

http://www.cyclingnews.com/races/tour-de-france-2010/stage-3/results

Also as mentioned its possible he wasnt happy at someone else taking the sprint having done no work.

Not sure if already mentioned but if Cav was thinking about points rather than the stage then OPQ might have been better off leaving the break out there. If the break had stayed away then there would have been less action in the main field and he could have got 5th. If the other teams had closed it down then his team would be fresher to try and bring him back afterwards although that probably wouldnt have worked out seeing how things went.

Just began watching today's stage and for the first 10 minutes the bein Sport commentators were devoted to talking about nothing but Team Sky. I have to ask: Why??

I have know idea, but I was laughing at some of the stuff they were saying. All the same stuff the Sky PR machine touts.
