I know iv been frezzing but once i have got into a long climb most of the extra layers would come off never get how guys can climb with big jackets on them.

Evans will have benefitted from a rest day, Pozzovivo to launch his slender frame on the final climb

Was a lovely journey up Tre Cime, for a while, but now stuck 3km from the top. Snowing VERY hard here.

Hope the stage goes ahead as forecast.

Don't see a breakaway succeeding as surely Sky will want to keep a tight rein on things as bonus seconds could move him up to second. Likewise Lampre; if Scarponi wins the stage then he doesn't have to gain quite so much real time.

Unless there are no bonus seconds on this stage?! Then my post is horribly invalid!

But regardless, those guys will have to throw everything that they have at Evans on the final climb.

Duran Duran to unleash the watts for sure! Wonder if they'll use the train...might as well I guess!

Looks like a walk in the park !

If conditions stay as they are now (light snow) no doubt they'll go to the top. They are mounting all the stuff at the finish already.

Looks doubtful to voice the completely obvious. They may not get to the climb. Might just cancel it.

It's the second-to-last stage, for crying out loud!

If all the average Joe's can take the trip up Tre Cime, why wouldn't the pro's be able to? As long as there's no safety risk?

I'd rather they shorten the stage and make sure the peloton can take the last 100 K's + make sure there's enough warm baths to everyone...;)

It's Euskaltel on the front of the peloton leading the chase. At 6 minutes it's going to be a big ask to try and bring the move back.

Looks like Samu wants this
