Kelderman has to be the favourite for white after today. The only Blanco rider to follow the Nibali/Scarponi attack on the penultimate climb. Very impressive by the whippersnapper.

Evans seems to be back to his best BTW. Could he win the Giro?

Day 8 of the Tour he "dropped" Wiggins.

Such a shame Kelderman went down in the earlier stages.:(

Hesjedal should be in pink tomorrow.

Hesjedal with a better shot than Nibbles, but if Wiggins rides well it's hard to see him not making up the difference he lost today.

Benat has been a better TT ist than Nibs until now, don't expect that to change.

Sky will regret making the Colombians wait so much by the end of the Giro. :p

Although Wiggins is free to prove me wrong and take 2 min out of everybody tomorrow, would make the race exciting. :D

Looking forward to Gesinks TT as well, he seems in excellent shape, and with the TTs he's been doing last year, he could do very well

What do you guys think about sky stopping both uran and henao to wait for wiggo?

Hope nibbles is fine. He didn't look good after the crash. He managed to bridge to the front group only in the final kms.

Hats off to Blanco anyway. Bobby G really stepping up his game.

Obviously the right call since the Columbians did some good damage limitation on the flat to the finish.

I wonder what Evans can do tomorrow.
It could be anything. I think he will ride well in the mountains but I am not sure about the TT. Luckily he has a buffer on Wiggo.

Theyoungest, I don't think Cadel will. Although, he looks like he is climbing well and looking really strong. I hope he forgets about the Tour and just goes all out to win the Giro.

Wiggo was al ready dropped in the climb though

and Nibali + crashing descended faster in the penultimate descent than Wiggins.

I don't like the fact that rain and crashing plays a part in deciding the GC, but Wiggins was al ready dropped in the final climb, not just because of crashing in the rain and not daring to descend.
He would not have lost more than a minute if it wasn't raining.

No, Wiggins was dropped in the descent before the final climb (when Nibs went nuts then crashed).

Wiggins is the leader, leader fell, so everyone waits. Not sure why they would do anything else. Uran and Henao are helpers, not co-leaders.

it will be interesting to see how Nibali and Wiggins feel tomorrow. I get the feeling that Wiggins might use this as an excuse to pull out tbh

I'm not sure where peeople get the idea that Wiggins losing time today is no big deal because the TT is tomorrow. The time he will make up is the time he was supposed to have in the bank for when he gets dropped in the mountains. If you don't think he lost the Giro today then you are fooling yourself.

Huh what so you think Nibali can limit his losses to less than 1min 40 to Wiggo?.

W is hurt and his heart is not in it, plus more rain tomorrow on a very technical parcourse

probably, but if you can't ride at all if it's wet, you should give up on competing in a three week cycling race. How are you going to find three weeks without rain?

Imagine if it rains on the Stelvio descent........

Besides, dropping on a hill like that, without too much big names attacking, doesn't bode very well for his form. So maybe they didn't even need the luck.
