Lots of talk about Wiggins vs Nibali vs Gesink vs Hesjedal vs Intxausti vs Evans but nothing about who top 5 will be. Some TT specialists still want a piece of the action...Durbridge, Kessiakoff, Tuft, Clement, Phinney, Sergent? Or will they soft pedal and save their energy?

Final ramp makes it difficult for a pure TTer.

Alex said it is his target, he has been soft pedaling in previous stages:D

Final ramp is just that: a ramp.

People saying here Wiggins won't win... of course he will. Only way he doesn't win tomorrow is if he's truly ill, in which case it wouldn't make sense for him to stay in the race.

THIS IS AS GOOD AS IT GETS FOR THE 1st WEEK.

Wigborg has faltered 3 times so far this week. The consensus was that W would rule on the TT and that was an important part of His game, since He may not be the strongest climber. Now Wigborg has given up a portion of His TT advantage. Even if W wins, His 3rd strike against Him today may be a fatal blow in the long ride. If the roads are wet W will be effected more than the average bear. And what other mistakes is W good for?

Ryder comes from a mountain bike background with its associated bike handling skills, if the roads are wet.

I think it's going to become the Ryder and Nibs show.

With W, 1.5 minutes behind, We have an action packed race that's for sure.

This is as good as it gets, for the 1st week.

Its a ramp but will be too much for the likes of Turbo Durbo IMO

He fell today so he has an excuse for tomorrow's ITT, just in case.

Wiggins will NOT win: no way.

The way Brailsford is handling the press makes me think Wiggo has something to hide; and even Brailsford isn't sure anymore:

""Really it's about how much balls he's got now, isn't it? Let's race."

Cojonies are better than balls (for downhill, anyway)

In Giro 2010, people said the same thing

:D

then I will be even happier in Tour:D
Tbh, he raced so little compared with this time last year, so make sense he is using Grio as his race load but unwilling to take any unnecessary risk to get injured

I think Wiggo is stronger at the moment than many people are giving him credit for especially when it comes to time trials. I'd love to see Nibali playing with the bunch with 3km's to go on a flat stage.
