Actuelly Wigins is Lucky. The rain should be worst about 5 pm (when Wiggo is done, but Nibali is still out there) according to the forecast

I don't trust weather forecasts however if true then Wiggo losing all that time yesterday could mean he gains a little bit more back today. It's hard to tell if its a mega hard TT from what we have seen until he goes out and stops the clock.

Sergent's already done half the job. It will be very tight.

If the rain starts it could mean that Sergent becomes the winner due to riding dry roads!

Presumably there's strong winds about too to make it so much slower than expected? If so that's likely to favour the more aero rider, so suit Wiggins even more?

Dowsett said his TT declined after he left Sky. So Wiggins beats him by.. 5 minutes?

If that weather prediction holds Wiggins is going to be the winner of the giro today. Unless Nibali has improved his tt at froome levels then he is going to lose 5 minutes. Hejsedal I don't think was that good ever either. It's one thing being the good gt tter vs Joaquim Rodriguez. Another vs Wiggins.

Cataldo finishes pretty close to Sergent, so obviously back in decent shape now.

Also a good clue to remember, that Sky tend to pace themselves to come home well. Cataldo lost nearly all the time in the first section and matched Sergent on the rest, and Sergent has destroyed Belkov on the rest.
